Fermented Hot-Sauce Masterclass “From Seed to Sauce” | Sat 12th July

Discover the art and science of lacto-fermentation and artisan hot-sauce making from an award-winning commercial hot-sauce producer in this 3-hour hands-on workshop as you learn to create custom hot-sauces and other spicy condiments at home.

Learn to utilise a range of methods, including mash and brine fermentation, barrel ageing, and cold-smoking, focusing on both traditional and contemporary flavour profiles. 

As a group, we’ll create and bottle funky, fiery, and flavourful hot-sauces from locally grown chillies using a range of creative ingredients. 

This experience includes tea/coffee on arrival and a chilli-themed light lunch after the class. Alcoholic drinks are also available to purchase during the class  - we are a winery after all - but if you’re not driving and would really like to make a day of it, why not add on our bottomless drinks package for just $30 per person on booking?
